Prom dresses are our speciality. Pam started selling dresses for school Proms approximately twelve years ago when school Proms were in their infancy. At the on-set Pam Jeffrey the owner of Pam’s People was designing and making dresses for school leavers balls, or Proms, as they have popularly become known .

Now, however, with the high demand for Prom dresses we obtain all our dresses ready made which are sourced, from several suppliers, in order to get a wide and varied selection of Prom Dresses to satisfy every young girls dream of looking and feeling her best for her school Prom. With many years experience, Pam is in demand travelling throughout Cornwall and beyond, advising her clients on the most flattering style and most complementary colour to suit THEM.

Pam encourages her clients to try on various styles, be it a two piece, one piece dress or fairytale ball gown. Each young lady visiting our showroom for a private appointment will be given a full hour of undivided attention with, advice on choosing the right style for her particular body shape, also paying close attention to colours and types of materials which will enhance her good points and compliment her eye, skin and hair colour.

You may like to choose a two piece dress which could consist of a strapless, shoe string strap or wide strap bodice with a straight, ’A’ line skirt or full skirt with perhaps a matching stole. Or you may have the type of figure which looks fantastic in a figure hugging dress be it strapless, with shoe string straps or wide straps if you feel more comfortable wearing a bra.

If you are looking for the Cinderella look , why not go for a full ball gown with either the fitted boned bodice with full skirt and net underskirts. If you don’t have the height to carry this style off, you could try the Princess style ball gown flaring out below a fitted waist line giving the illusion of height.
